§ 155.083 STREET TREES UNIVERSAL DESIGN STANDARD.
   To protect and enhance it visual and natural environment, the borough encourages abundant and carefully designed landscaping, especially the planting of shade trees that will create large canopies at maturity. Trees shall be planted within the strip between the cartway edge and the required sidewalk. Such trees shall be at least one and one-half inches to two and one-half inches in caliper at breast height when planted. In concert with the Borough Public Works Department and the Borough Street Tree Committee, the developer shall analyze overhead utilizes and determine whether street trees will conflict with overhead utilities. Species shall be selected, based upon areas where no overhead utilities conflict with tree growth, and where overhead utilities call for shorter trees.
