The purpose of good subdivision and site design is to create a functional and attractive development, to minimize adverse impacts upon adjacent properties and neighborhoods, and to implement the objectives of the Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Ordinance. To promote this purpose, all subdivisions and/or site plans shall conform to the following standards which are designed to result in a well-planned community without adding unnecessarily to development costs.
