A sketch plan/pre-submission conference is not required; however, it is highly recommended. The purpose is to acquaint the developer with the requirements of this chapter and to avoid unneeded processing or incorrectly prepared plats. This step is also recommended for minor subdivisions, though the developer or the developer’s surveyor should understand the requirements of this chapter. Though no set format is required, such plans should be adequate to show the primary elements of the proposed development.
