§ 155.003 AUTHORITY OF PLANNING COMMISSION RELATIVE TO THIS CHAPTER.
   (A)   In accordance with the provisions of Article V (53 P.S. §§ 10501 to 10516) and § 501 of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code (53 P.S. § 10105), the Council, does hereby designate the Borough Planning Commission as the agency for the acceptance, review and/or approval of all subdivision and land developments within the borough, and to have related authorities and responsibilities as specified in this chapter.
   (B)   All subdivisions of land and land developments, within the borough are regulated by the Borough Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance. It shall not be lawful to record any plan required to be approved by the Planning Commission in any public office unless the same shall bear, thereon by endorsement, the approval of the Planning Commission. The disapproval of any such plan by the Planning Commission shall be deemed a refusal of the privilege to record said plan.
