§ 132.01 DEFINITIONS RELATING TO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES. Any alcoholic liquid as so defined by the Pennsylvania Liquor Code, 47 P.S. §1-102, including, among others, alcohol, liquor, malted or brewed beverages, potable distilled spirits, whiskey or wine.
   CONTAINER. Includes any bottle, can, cup or glass receptacle suitable for or used to hold any liquid.
   PUBLIC PLACE. A place to which the public or a group of persons has access, including, but not limited to, any highway, street, road, alley, bypass, sidewalk, parking area, shopping area, playground, park or recreation facility located within municipal limits, except that the definition of a PUBLIC PLACE shall not include those premises duly licensed for the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages on the premises or within and on private property that is not a PUBLIC PLACE as defined.
