Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof in summary proceedings before any justice of the peace, be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $100 plus costs, and not more than $300 plus costs, to be paid to the borough, or in default thereof, shall be confined to the county jail for a period of not more than 30 days.
