§ 35.15 POLICE PENSION FUND.
   (A)   (1)   Effective as of September 20, 2010 the accompanying joinder agreement and the terms of the Pennsylvania State Association of Boroughs Master Retirement Trust are hereby adopted by the employer, to be known as the Borough of Grove City Police Pension Plan, which are incorporated herein by reference.
      (2)   Copies of the Pennsylvania State Association of Boroughs Master Retirement Trust and the Borough of Grove City Police Pension Plan are on file in the borough offices.
   (B)   Said plan shall be deemed to be a successor to and a continuation of the prior plan.

Editor’s note:
   The Borough of Grove City on December 16,1957, established a retirement plan for certain of its employees known as the Borough of Grove City Police Pension Plan (“prior plan”). On September 20, 2010 the Borough Council adopted Borough Ordinance 1396 as required by Act 51 of October 9, 2009, P.L. 588, deleting the killed-in-service benefit formerly mandated by Act 600 of May 29,1956, P.L. 1804, as amended, 53 P.S. § 771 (Act 600); and, the borough now desires to adopt the restated Defined Benefit Pension Plan Joinder Agreement with the Pennsylvania State Association of Boroughs Municipal Retirement Trust (PSAB MRT), effective as of September 20, 2010. Said plan shall be deemed to be a continuation of and a successor to the prior plan.
