(A) Subject. Any vehicle impounded by the Borough Police Department for any cause pursuant to the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Code or the Pennsylvania Crimes Code shall be subject to a storage fee as set forth hereafter.
(B) Fee. The owner or claimant of such impounded vehicle shall be subject to a storage fee in the amount of $15 per day, commencing 24 hours following telephone notification, the date of mailing of a letter to the owner by regular mail with proof of mailing or the date of posting notification of impoundment at the owner’s residence, whichever method of notification the borough may select.
