Whoever violates any provision of Section 939.14 shall be subject to the following penalties:
(a) If the value of the property destroyed or the injury done is less than one hundred dollars ($100), the person shall be fined not more than two hundred fifty dollars ($250) or imprisoned not more than thirty (30) days or both.
(b) If the value of the property destroyed or the injury done is more than one hundred dollars ($100), the person shall be fined not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) or imprisoned not more than six (6) months or both.
