This chapter shall not apply to any person selling by sample only where no deposit or down payment is required, to the products of the person's own hands so long as such products do not consist of foodstuffs as described above, to the sale of goods imported from other states or foreign countries and sold in unbroken packages nor to the sale of agricultural products offered or exposed for sale by the producer.
