(a) Keepers of garages, gasoline stations, parking lots or other places where motor vehicles of any kind are stored or left for repair or for any other purpose, and any employee of any such person who knows or becomes aware of the fact that any motor vehicle so stored or left has upon or in it, bullet marks, gunshot marks, blood stains or marks of evidence of any crime, shall immediately report the facts to the Police Division.
(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of failure to report evidence of a crime, a minor misdemeanor.
