(a) No owner, tenant, agent or other person having charge of any land in the City shall permit roaches, flies, fleas, ants, silverfish, termites, bed bugs, mice, rats, ticks, moths, powder pest beetles, box elderbug, clovermites, moles, waterbugs, or other inspects or vermin injurious to health, to collect, breed, gather or exist on or in any land, building or edifice, nor fail to cause such insects or vermin to be disposed of in a manner prescribed by the appropriate health officer of the City.
(b) The appropriate health officer having jurisdiction with the City shall give written notice of any violation of division (a) of this section to such owner, tenant, agent, or other person either by personally delivering a copy of such notice to the owner, tenant, agent or other person or by posting a copy of this notice for not less than five days in a conspicuous place on the land or building whereon the violation of the regulation takes place. No owner, tenant, agent or other person having charge of any land in the City after the five days written notice of any violation shall fail to comply with the notice.
(c) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
