The Historical and Cultural Arts Commission shall be composed of seven citizen members of the community to be appointed by the Mayor to terms of three years, with two members being from a preservation related field, if available and otherwise satisfactory for service.
(a) Following the expiration of the term of any appointed Commission member, a successor shall be appointed by the Mayor. The appointed successor shall serve for a term of three years. Should a Commission member resign or be removed from the Commission, a successor shall be appointed by the Mayor and shall serve for the remainder of the unexpired term.
(b) Commission members shall serve at the pleasure of the Mayor.
(c) The Director of Parks and Recreation, or a designee, shall serve as a non-voting liaison to the Commission.
