The Town Board of Aldermen, by majority vote, may direct the town attorney to investigate any apparent violation of this policy, as it applies to any town official and to report the findings of the investigation to the Town Board of Aldermen. Any person who believes that a violation of this policy has occurred may file a complaint in writing with the Town Board of Aldermen when a town official is the subject of the complaint.
