Wastewater shall not be emptied into a stream, ditch or other drainage device in the extraterritorial jurisdiction limits of the town. All wastewater from the town water system shall be discharged into the sanitary sewer system. All storm water shall be discharged into the storm drainage system. Unpolluted water (e.g., uncontaminated cooling water) may be discharged into the storm sewer system with the approval of DEM.
