Sec. 8-50 Thirty-Five mile per hour speed limit designation.
   (a)   No person shall drive a motor vehicle in excess of 35 miles per hour on the following:
      (1)   Main street from the east edge of the Conrail Railroad tracks to the City limits.
      (2)   Fry Road from the west edge of the City limits of Greenwood, to the intersection with Madison Avenue.
      (3)   Honey Creek Road between Whiteland Road and Curry Road.
      (4)   Madison Avenue from six hundred feet (600') north of Noble Street to the northern edge of the intersection with Fry Road.
   (b)   The Street Department shall post appropriate signs and markings on the above described public streets clearly indicating thereon the altered speed limits.
   (c)   Any person who operates a motor vehicle in violation of this section shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined in an amount not to exceed Two Thousand Five Hundred and no/100 Dollars ($2,500.00). In his/her discretion, the City Court Judge may also order certain other non-monetary, non-criminal penalties, including, but not limited to, remedial driving training.
