Sec. 4-158.7 Books and Records.
   (a)   The licensee shall keep and use in her or her business, books, accounts, and records pertaining to all items of merchandise purchased, pledged or traded, to enable the Police Department to determine whether such licensee is complying with the provisions of this Section, and with the rules and regulations lawfully made hereunder. Every licensee shall preserve such books, accounts, and records for at least two years after making the final entry on any loan, pledge or purchase recorded therein.
   (b)   Pawn Dealers. Books and records of pawn dealers shall be kept in compliance with I.C. 28-7-5-19, as amended.
   (c)   Second Hand Watch Dealers. The licensee shall keep records of each second hand watch purchase as required by I.C. 24-4-3-3, as amended.
   (d)   Used Jeweler Dealers. The licensee shall keep records of used jewelry sales as required by I.C., 24-4-13-3. All such records shall be made reasonably available to any law enforcement officer upon request by said officer. Records and information generated by a jeweler in the course of business are confidential and shall only be disclosed by the Greenwood Police Department in accordance with I.C., 24-4-13-7.
   (e)   Precious Metal Dealers. The licensee shall keep records of each precious metal purchase as required by I.C., 24-4-19-14 and 24-4-19-15, as amended. All such records shall be made available to any law enforcement officer upon request by said officer during normal business hours. The report of purchase required by I.C., 24-4-19-16 shall be electronically transferred via a law enforcement website designated as an agent of the City of Greenwood Police Department for the sole purpose of collecting such records. At no time shall the City of Greenwood Police Department designate an agent which shall charge a licensee any type of fee. Records and information generated by a precious metal dealer in the course of business are confidential and shall only be disclosed by the Greenwood Police Department in accordance with I.C., 24-4-19-20.
   (f)   Valuable Metal Dealers. The licensee shall keep records of each valuable metal purchase on the form provided by the Indiana State Police as required by I.C., 25-37.5-1-2, as amended. Additionally, each valuable metal dealer shall make and retain a copy of the government issued photographic identification used to identify the person from whom the valuable metal was purchased. All such records shall be maintained by the licensee for two years. All such records shall be made available to any law enforcement officer upon request by said officer during normal business hours.
