(a) Whenever the person responsible under this chapter with the maintenance of a structure or premises fails to comply with any final order as provided in this chapter, the Solicitor may file an action seeking injunctive relief or other remedies as provided by law.
(b) Whoever violates any provision of this chapter or fails to comply with any order as provided herein, shall be punished as provided in division (c) of this section.
(c) (1) Except as otherwise provided in division (c)(2) of this section, the offense is a minor misdemeanor.
(2) If within three years of the offense, the offender previously was convicted of any violations of this chapter, the offense is an unclassified misdemeanor. When the offense is an unclassified misdemeanor, the offender may be fined up to one thousand dollars ($1,000); and may be ordered to serve a term of community service up to 500 hours. The failure of an offender to complete a term of community service imposed by the court may be punished as indirect contempt under division (A) of R.C. § 2705.02.
