1026.06 REMOVAL OF DANGEROUS TREES ON PRIVATE PROPERTY; NOTICE.
   Trees on private property that are dead, diseased or otherwise in a condition that, in the opinion of the Shade Tree Commission, constitutes a hazard to life or property or harbors insects or disease which constitute a potential threat to other trees within the Village, shall be removed by the owner of the property on which such trees stand, within ten days of receipt of written notice from the Commission. Upon the neglect or refusal of such property owner to remove any such tree within ten days of receipt of written notice, the Village Administrator shall have such tree removed, at the expense of the property owner. Such expense shall be certified to the County Auditor for collection. The remedy provided for herein is in addition to the penalty provided in Section 1026.99.
