If, after the expiration of sixty days from the date of service of the notice, the sidewalk has not been constructed or repaired, the Village Administrator shall cause such construction or repair to be done, and the cost, including engineering, inspection and other incidental expenses, shall be certified to the Clerk-Treasurer for collection, either in cash or by placing the same upon the tax duplicate, according to law. Such remedy shall be in addition to the penalty provided in Section 1022.99.
(a) If the cost to repair or construct said sidewalk is between one dollar ($1.00) and two hundred dollars ($200.00), the assessment will be assessed over a two year period;
(b) If the cost to repair or construct said sidewalk is between two hundred one dollars ($201.00) and four hundred dollars ($400.00), the assessment will be over a four year period;
(c) If the cost to repair or construct said sidewalk is between four hundred one dollars ($401.00) and six hundred dollars ($600.00), the assessment will be over a six year period;
(d) If the cost to repair or construct said sidewalk is between six hundred one dollars ($601.00) and eight hundred dollars ($800.00), the assessment will be over an eight year period; and
(e) If the cost to repair or construct said sidewalk is greater than eight hundred dollars ($800.00), such assessment will be over a ten year period.
