274.05 STATE APPROVAL REQUIRED FOR DISPOSAL; NOTICE TO OHIO HISTORICAL SOCIETY.
   When Municipal records have been approved for disposal, a list of such records shall be sent to the Bureau of Inspection and Supervision of Public Offices in the State Auditor's office. If the Bureau disapproves of the action taken by the Records Commission, in whole or in part, within sixty days of the receipt of such list, the records shall not be destroyed. Further, the Ohio Historical Society shall be given notice of records to be destroyed and shall have sixty days to select for its custody or disposal such public records as it considers to be of continuing historical value.
