(a) All new full-time employees shall work a twelve-month probationary period at the beginning wage level and will receive a fifty cent ($0.50) per hour increase at the end of the first six months. At the end of the twelve-month probationary period, the wage will be increased to the rate currently in effect for that particular position.

(b) Retired employees of the Village reemployed by the Village shall be exempt from a twelve-month probationary period, wage shall be determined by Council.
