An ordinance adopted by City Council pursuant to section 9-1-129(D) or section 9-1-132 of this article shall be recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds of Pitt County and shall be indexed in the name of the property owner in the grantor index, as provided by G.S. 160D-1129(f) and (g).
