SEC. 12-3-6 NOTICE TO ABATE; EMERGENCY ABATEMENT BY THE CITY.
   If any person shall violate the provisions of section 12-3-4, it shall be the duty of the Code Enforcement Supervisor or officer to give notice to the owner and property manager, if known, or to any person in possession of the subject property, as provided by section 12-3-7, directing that all unlawful conditions existing thereupon be abated within ten days from the date of such notice is received; provided, that if, in the opinion of the Code Enforcement Supervisor, the unlawful condition is such that it is of imminent danger or peril to the public, then the Code Enforcement Supervisor may, without notice, authorize the unlawful condition be abated, and the cost thereof shall be charged against the property as is provided in section 12-3-9.
