It shall be unlawful for any person running or conducting a public sale within the city of any goods, wares or merchandise described in section 11-5-1 to falsely advertise or represent the same to be bankrupt stock, or falsely to advertise or represent the same as being imported, or falsely to represent the same as to brand, trademark, quality, weight or texture.
