§ 33.05 HANDGUN LICENSING FEES.
   (A)   All fees required per state licensing schedule dated July 1, 2006 to be collected by the Town Marshal in accordance with I.C. 35-47-2-3.
   (B)   All appropriate state forms and fingerprinting to be completed by the Town Marshal or his or her designees for his or her review and signature in accordance with I.C. 35-47-2-3 attached and forwarded to the ISP Firearms Section including appropriate fees.    (C)   All payments are to be made by certified check or money order only. One check is to be made payable to the town for local fees. One check is to be made payable to the state for state fees. Fees can not be combined on one certified check or money order. If the application is rejected, only a portion of those fees in accordance with schedule dated July 1, 2006 of fee assessments is refundable.
   (D)   All fees collected and applications and fingerprinting information obtained by the Town Marshal is to be copied and a file generated for each applicant and submitted to the Town Clerk-Treasurer or the Town Water Company Clerk daily to be kept on file at the Town Hall.
   (E)   The local fee collected by certified checks or money orders collected by the Town Marshal is to be submitted to the Town Clerk-Treasurer or the Town Water Company Clerk the next business working day for deposit in the town banking account.
   (F)   All fees collected under this section are for the sole use of the Town Marshal’s Department and shall be used pursuant to I.C. 35-47-2-3(h) or successors statute.
   (G)   The Town Clerk-Treasurer or a member or the Council of the town shall provide the County Sheriff’s Department a copy of this section. Pursuant to I.C. 35-47-2 et seq., the County Sheriff’s Department shall direct applicants for a handgun license that reside in the town to the Town Marshal for licensing.

*A portion of the local fee is refundable if a license is not issued. The entire state fee is refundable if no license is issued.
