It shall be the duty of the Marshal Department to enforce the traffic regulations as described herein, to make arrests for traffic violations, enforce all street and traffic laws of the town and all laws of the state applicable to street traffic within the town, investigate accidents and carry out the duties specifically imposed by this chapter and the traffic ordinances of the town.
