The Town Council, acting through the enforcement authority or a person designated by the enforcement authority, may bring a civil action regarding unsafe premises in the Circuit, Superior or Municipal Court of the county. Pursuant to I.C. 36-7-9-18 through 36-7-9-22, the civil action may request: injunctions; civil forfeitures; appointment of receiver; court order authorizing performance of work and judgment of cost; and/or an emergency court order authorizing action to make premises safe and judgment for costs.
