§ 30.05 MARSHAL’S DEPARTMENT DETECTIVE; CHAIN OF COMMAND.

   (A)   The position of Marshal’s Department Detective shall be created upon passage of this section and have an effective date of March 1, 2010.

   (B)   The starting salary for the Marshal’s Department Detective shall be $12,000.

   (C)   The position of Marshal’s Department Detective shall be budgeted under the town’s General Fund with an account number established and listed as a separate item on the monthly budget sheets.

   (D)   The chain of command for the Marshal Department shall be as follows:

      (1)   Town Marshal;

      (2)   Town Marshal’s Department Detective;

      (3)   Deputy Town Marshal; and

      (4)   Reporting directly to the Town Marshal and acting under the arrest powers of the Town Marshal any Town Marshal’s Department reserve members.
