§ 153.0410 PURPOSE AND FINDINGS.
“MX” (Mixed Use) Districts allow the emergence of complete neighborhoods with a complete mix of residential, retail, service and office activities. These districts de-emphasize land-use regulations, and instead permit any use to be established subject to design standards established in the use patterns (Division 2 of this chapter). Urban design standards are required in order to maintain a neighborhood commercial scale, to promote pedestrian activity and to maintain the unique character of the center. Pedestrian circulation and common parking areas are required.
