(A) “NS” (Neighborhood Suburban) Districts provide areas for low-density, single-family uses that provide a buffer between the agricultural and “RE” (Residential Estate) classifications and higher density.
(B) Minimum lot size requirements are provided in order to allow for market and design flexibility while preserving neighborhood character.
(C) “NS” Districts encourage more intensive development in and near neighborhood centers with less intensive development between neighborhood centers. They provide a full range of housing choices and promote a sense of community, urban vitality and the efficient provision of infrastructure.
