(A) Recruiting practices are conducted solely on the basis of ability, merit, qualifications and competence, without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, pregnancy, age or disability.
(B) Each applicant shall complete and sign an application form prior to being considered as a finalist for any position. Resumes may supplement, but not replace, the city’s official application form. Applicants chosen for consideration as finalists on the basis of their resume or other information, shall complete a standard application form prior to being considered as a finalist for any position.
(C) Any applicant supplying false or misleading information or omitting requested information is subject to immediate termination, if hired, whenever such falsification or omission is discovered.
