§ 31.071 OATH OF OFFICE.
   Before entering upon the duties of the office of City Clerk, the City Clerk shall take and subscribe the oath or affirmation required by the Illinois Constitution. The subscribed oath or affirmation shall be filed in the office of the City or Village Clerk.
