§ 52.048 WORK TO COMPLY WITH STATE STANDARDS.
   The type, capacities, location and layout of a private sewage disposal system shall comply with all recommendations of the state’s Private Sewage Disposal Licensing Act, being 225 ILCS 225/1 et seq., and code and with the state’s Environmental Protection Agency. No permit shall be issued for any private sewage disposal systems employing subsurface soil absorption facilities where the area of the lot is less than three acres. No septic tank or cesspool shall be permitted to discharge to any natural outlet unless approved by the state’s Department of Public Health and the city.
