The applicant for a sewer connection permit shall notify the Code Enforcement Officer when the sewer is ready for inspection and connection to the public sewer. The Code Enforcement Officer shall then inspect the installation and, if such construction is found to conform to the established specifications, and be in a safe and sanitary condition, approval shall be granted to connect the building sewer to the public sewer system.
