§ 11.01 CITY SEAL.
   A seal in circular form with the words “City of Greenville, Bond County, State of Illinois” in the outer circle, and the words “City Seal” in the interior of said circle, shall be and is hereby adopted and declared to be the seal of the said city, to be kept in the custody of the City Clerk/Finance Director and his or her successors in office, and used in all cases when required by the laws and customs of nations, the Constitution and laws of the United States, the Constitution and laws of the state, the ordinances of the city and in all other cases in which it is or may be necessary to use a seal by a corporation.
