§ 153.1190 APPLICABILITY.
   Proposed developments subject to this requirement shall provide landscaping along or within any street providing access to the subdivision or a multi-family development. This subdivision applies only to streets or driveways internal to the subdivision or proposed development.

Streets or driveways with only 2 lanes shall provide greenspace at the intersection of the external access street and the internal street or driveway leading into the proposed development.
 
Streets or driveways exceeding 2 lanes or 36 feet shall provide greenspace and shall provide a landscaped median in addition to the greenspace area required above. The landscaped median shall have a minimum width of 8 feet.
 
Streets or driveways separated by a distance of at least 40 feet may provide an open space area that conforms to §§ 153.0995 through 153.1003 of this chapter in lieu of the greenspace areas described above. Such area shall lie between the streets or driveway entrances. Parks or playgrounds shall not be used pursuant to this section where the external access road exceeds 4 lanes in width or has a posted speed limit exceeding 35 mph.
