§ 153.1047 MULTI-USE FACILITIES.
The use of multi-use detention facilities to alleviate existing flooding problems, enhance and provide amenities for older neighborhoods, and support the revitalization of economically depressed areas is encouraged in public and private redevelopment initiatives. Multi-use facilities are storm water management facilities that provide storm water management functions and other benefits, such as water quality improvement, water recharge, open space, recreation or habitat. Multi-use facilities are encouraged, but not required by this section. Such facilities shall meet the standards set forth in § 153.1037 of this chapter and shall not increase the rate or volume of erosion above, resulting from the use of a facility without multiple uses.
