§ 153.0546 MEETINGS.
The Planning Commission shall hold regularly scheduled public hearings to receive and review public input on all legislative processes required by this chapter. The Planning Commission shall recommend that the city approve, approve with conditions or deny applications. If a comprehensive area, an UDC amendment, a floating zone or a rezoning requiring final approval of the city has been duly submitted to the Planning Commission, and the Planning Commission has failed to convene a quorum or to make a recommendation approving or denying such action at two consecutive meetings, such action, at the option of the applicant, shall be deemed to be a negative recommendation. The Code Enforcement Officer shall then submit the application to the city for its consideration.
