The purpose of this chapter is to provide fair and comprehensive regulations that will promote safety and orderly development of the community through the regulation of signs and sign structures. The intent of this chapter is that the regulation of signs within the unincorporated areas of the county is necessary and in the public interest to encourage a positive visual environment and to afford equal and fair opportunity to advertise and promote products and services without discrimination and to protect the public health, safety and general welfare of the community.
