§ 14-2 VENDING FROM VEHICLES WHILE PARKED OR STANDING – FINDINGS.
The county council finds that severe traffic and safety hazards exist in connection with the vending of food or other articles from trucks or similar vehicles which are parked or standing on a county street or road, especially those, such as ice cream trucks, which are attractive to children. The council therefor deems it to be in the public interest to regulate the operation of such trucks and vehicles so as to provide for the safety of pedestrians.
