§ 9-83 OFFICERS.
   (a)   At the organizational meeting of the commission and each year thereafter, the commissioners shall elect from their number a chairman. It shall be the duty of the chairman to serve as liaison between county staff members. The commission shall also elect a vice chairman to preside at its meetings in the absence of the chairman.
   (b)   The commission shall also elect a secretary who shall be a member of the commission. The secretary shall be the custodian of all records of the commission and shall keep accurate minutes and records of all regular and special meetings of the commission. Expenses for materials, copying and mailing meeting notices and minutes shall be paid by the County of Greenville, with the total cost not exceeding $1,000 per year to be effective July 1, 1991.
