§ 2-173 DUTIES GENERALLY OF COUNTY ENGINEER.
   The County Engineer shall have the following duties and responsibilities:
      (1)   To furnish professional advice to all county departments, agencies, boards or commissions which may have need of his or her services;
      (2)   To assist and advise the county supervisor in all construction and maintenance activities carried on by the supervisor’s department;
      (3)   To make periodic inspections of all public works, buildings and other physical facilities owned or operated by the county and to report to County Council at such times as it may prescribe on the condition of such physical facilities;
      (4)   To assist the County Planning Commission and its staff in the enforcement of its subdivision regulations;
      (5)   To perform such other duties of an engineering nature as may be prescribed by the County Council.
