The County Zoning Administrator shall have the following duties and responsibilities.
(1) The Administrator shall be the chief administrator of the Department of Zoning Administration and responsible for the personnel of the Department.
(2) The Administrator shall have responsibility for receiving and approving applications for zoning certificates, certificates of occupancy and for uses permitted on review and shall enforce the county zoning ordinance under all applicable rules and regulations.
(3) The Administrator shall be responsible for the proper distribution of all applications requiring consideration by other agencies or individuals.
(4) The Administrator shall file all required reports and keep accurate and current records on all permit activity.
(5) The Administrator shall provide staff assistance to the County Council, the County Board of Zoning Appeals and the County Planning Commission regarding all zoning matters pending before these bodies.
