§ 2-151 NATURE OF OFFICE.
   Effective January 1, 1983, the County Attorney shall be appointed by the County Council and shall serve at its pleasure. The County Attorney will be the head of the county’s legal department, and his position will be full-time. His compensation shall be determined by the County Council. He shall perform, or be responsible for, all legal services required by the county government, including those required of him in handling in behalf of the county industrial revenue, hospital revenue, and pollution control revenue bond issues, the fees generated by such issues to be turned in to the county’s General Fund. He shall have such assistants as may be authorized by the County Council.
