§ 6-4 EMS DIRECTOR.
   The EMS director, who shall be professionally qualified to perform the duties of his office, shall be appointed by the county administrator and shall be directly responsible to the county administrator for the administration of the EMS department. Among other duties required of such director, it shall be his duty to coordinate the activities of all ambulance and rescue vehicles within the county through the county ambulance dispatcher, and regulate the assignment of ambulances to calls received, by the county ambulance dispatcher.
