§ 2-31 FOUR-YEAR TERMS.
   The 7 successful candidates for County Council who received the highest number of votes in the election held on November 4, 1980, shall serve for 4-year terms, beginning on January 1, 1981, and the 5 successful candidates who received the next highest number of votes shall serve for 2-year terms, beginning on the same date. At each succeeding general election, successful candidates shall serve for 4-year terms.
