1604.13   COMMERCIAL FIRE INSPECTION FEES.
Any commercial building in the City may be inspected annually for fire safety compliance. During an inspection of the commercial property, if the responsible party is provided with violation(s), the responsible party must remedy the violations in an agreed upon time frame, typically thirty days. Upon the re-inspection, if the violation has not been remedied the property must be re-inspected again. The responsible party will be charged seventy-five dollars ($75.00) for each re-inspection after the initial re-inspection until the violation is remedied. In addition, if a third re-inspection does not obtain compliance, a misdemeanor citation can be issued at that time. A property owner or responsible person will not incur a fee for any initial re-inspection where the inspector finds that all violations have been corrected.
