1042.03   WATER LINE TAP FEES.
   (a)   The fee to be charged and paid by the property owner to tap into the water distribution system of the City shall be based upon the size of the water tap to the property to be served and shall be according to the following schedule:

      (2)   The tap fees set forth in paragraph (a) (1) hereof are for one residential or commercial unit. If more than one unit is to be served by the tap, an additional charge of two hundred dollars ($200.00) shall be added for each additional unit served. Tap sizes two inches and smaller shall include a corporation stop, curb stop, curb box, meter with fittings and remote reading register installed, but shall not include the furnishing or installation of the service tubing. The tap-in fee for tap sizes in excess of two inches shall be only for the tap into the main line. All tapping materials, valves, pipe and meter shall be furnished by the applicant. All necessary excavation work required for any tap shall be the responsibility of the applicant. All tap-ins must conform to the rules and regulations governing the Greenville Municipal Water Supply System. (Ord. 87-32. Passed 3-17-87)
   (b)   A fee for each turn-off and/or turn-on of water service shall be charged in an amount equal to that set forth in the applicable rules and regulations for the Greenville Municipal Water Supply System. (Adopting Ordinance)
   (c)   The fee to be charged and paid by the property owner, for each sprinkler head, to install a nonmetered fire sprinkler head shall be two hundred dollars ($200.00) per tap.
