Any person who engages in the business or trade of itinerant vendor, either as a principal or an agent, must first obtain a license therefor from the City Auditor and shall post a bond to the City in an amount not less than one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500), with sufficient sureties, conditioned upon the licensee's faithful observance of the ordinances of the City. The Auditor shall determine if the proffered bond is valid, sufficient and qualifying. Such bond shall have a stated duration set forth therein of not less than 30 days from and after the last day of the licensing period set forth in the license issued pursuant to Section 852.05.
